Thanks Ajay. I find these tonal paintings a great help in arriving at a good understanding of proper values. Hence take up some of these works from time to time.
Sir, since you have a painting blog page..why not make a custom background for your blogpage. Why not set your favorite painting as you blogpage background. Just a thought :)
I found out a link teaching how to do it : http://tips-for-new-bloggers.blogspot.com/2007/03/background-image-for-blogger-template.html
Thanks Ankit. I have been thinking on tose lines, but have not yet made up my mind...wondering if that would steal some attention from the other paintings....wondering about it :)
Painting has been a part of my life for many years since childhood. The magical combination of Nature landscapes and transparent watercolors is a constant source of amazement and inspiration! It was some years ago, that this fascination transformed into a serious effort to try to respond to the granduer of Nature with the spontaneity of watercolors. The resultant paintings here and the accompanying verses are but a small tribute to the inspirations and infinite colors Nature bestows upon us.

Your grayscale value studies are good but personally I like your color paintings more
