This small poem is based on the Adwait philosophy taught by Saint Dnyaneshwar. Loosely translated, it means :
There are waves and waves on the ocean
Their random actions, sort of continous chaos
The one who knows that it is water and water only
He really knows, he really knows, as has been said by Hari Mauli
---
Unending waves, on the oceans roll
Their random acts, chaos controlled
Who sees it through, as water core
Alone he 'knows', thus saints have told!

Thanks Krista, Kat. This painting is loosely based on a reference foto and lots of my figment of imagination, like the person out there...sometimes I do imagine I am that person on the beach.
